John Payne, P.T.
|
John is a life long resident of Cheshire. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University. Upon graduation he was employed by Yale New Haven Hospital until 1986. In 1986 he opened Cheshire Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine with Michael Daley, P.T. For the past twenty four years he has continued to improve his manual skills and knowledge in the area of orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries through continuing education. His experience as a student athlete at S.C.S.U. gives him insight into the demands placed on the body during athletic competition, which has provided him with understanding how to safely return the athlete back to play. Outside of sports related injuries Mr. Payne sees a wide variety of patients including total joint replacements, arthritic conditions and various neck and back problems. |

Peggy earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut. She has been employed at Cheshire Physical Therapy since 1991. Prior to this she previously worked in various settings including acute care, homecare and an industrial clinic. Peggy has taken numerous continuing education classes including Cyriax, Mulligan and McKenzie techniques as well as craneocervical therapy, myofascial release and kinesiotaping. I enjoy being able to work one on one with my patients to guide them through the rehab process and seeing them able to resume their normal activities. |
